High density polyethylene (HDPE) combines stiffness, chemical resistance and low moisture permeability, which makes it the standard material for pressure pipe, blow-moulded containers, crates and high-strength thin film. Rabin Polymer supplies Iranian HDPE grades in four processing groups:
HDPE Film Grade · HDPE Pipe Grade (PE80 / PE100) · HDPE Blow Moulding Grade · HDPE Injection Moulding Grade
Popular grades include HDPE EX5 and HDPE F7000 for blown film, HDPE PE100 Natural and PE100 Black Pipe Compound for pressure pipe, HDPE BL3 for bottles and HDPE 62N07 for crates and pallets. Compare melt flow index and density in each product’s spec table before ordering.

HDPE granules from Iran: how the grades are organised
High density polyethylene is the stiffest of the three polyethylene families. It is the resin behind shopping bags, detergent bottles, crates, jerrycans and water pipe. Pakistan does not produce polyethylene, so every tonne of HDPE used by local converters is imported. Trade data for 2023 puts HDPE imports at roughly 205,000 tonnes, with Iran among the regular source countries.
We group our HDPE grades by the process they are made for. Melt flow is the number that separates them most clearly: film and pipe grades flow slowly and give strength, injection grades flow fast and fill moulds quickly.
Choose by process
- HDPE film grade: shopper, T-shirt and garbage bags
- HDPE blow moulding grade: bottles, jerrycans, drums
- HDPE injection grade: crates, pallets, caps, buckets
- HDPE pipe grade: PE80 and PE100 water and gas pipe

Reading an HDPE datasheet
Three lines tell you most of what you need. Melt flow rate shows how easily the melt moves; check the test load, because film and pipe grades are often quoted at 5 kg or 21.6 kg instead of 2.16 kg. Density above 0.950 g/cm³ means a stiffer part. Stress-crack resistance (ESCR) matters for bottles that hold detergent and for pipe under pressure.
If you are switching from another source, send us the grade you use now. We will tell you which of our grades runs closest on your machine and what to adjust.
The HDPE market in Pakistan
Film is the largest HDPE application in Pakistan, driven by retail carry bags and garbage bags. Injection moulding comes next, with crates for fruit, vegetables and soft drinks, buckets and household products. Blow moulding follows the FMCG sector: detergent, shampoo, edible oil and lubricant bottles. Pipe demand comes from water-supply schemes, housing projects, gas distribution and agriculture.
Karachi is the main trading hub, and converters are spread across Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Peshawar. Rates follow regional polyethylene prices, freight and the rupee, so many buyers compare weekly offers before they book.
Prime grades, named on the bag
Local traders often sell HDPE as generic “film dana” or “injection dana”. That makes it hard to repeat the same product quality from one order to the next. Buying a named grade with its own datasheet means the melt flow and density on the certificate can be checked against the datasheet, and your machine settings stay the same from container to container.
Ordering and delivery
Material leaves Iran in the producer’s original bags on pallets. Buyers in Pakistan can receive it by sea through Karachi or Port Qasim, or by road through Taftan. Route, packing and Incoterm are agreed order by order, because they depend on quantity, city and timing. Each shipment comes with a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.
For a rate, send the grade, the quantity and your city on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form. We reply within one business day.
Questions buyers ask
Can one HDPE grade cover film and injection?
Not well. A film grade is too stiff in the melt to fill a mould, and an injection grade is too runny to hold a film bubble. Buy the grade made for your process.
Do you supply recycled HDPE?
The grades on these pages are prime material in producer bags. If you need recycled granules, ask us separately and tell us the end use.
What is a normal first order?
Most buyers start with one 20-foot container or one truck. Smaller trial lots can be discussed for a new grade.
How do I compare your grade with the one I use now?
Send the grade name or its datasheet. We compare melt flow, density and test conditions and tell you what, if anything, needs adjusting.
