LLDPE film grade – buyer’s guide for Pakistan
Linear low density polyethylene gives film much higher puncture, dart impact and tear strength than LDPE at the same thickness. In Karachi it trades as LLDPE Film. Pakistani converters use it alone or blended with LDPE for agricultural and greenhouse film, liners, form-fill-seal sacks, stretch hood and strong carry bags.

How to choose
- Maximum toughness: 209 is a butene LLDPE with a low melt index (0.9) for strong, puncture-resistant film.
- Easier processing: a higher melt index grade such as 22B02 runs at lower pressure and is well suited to blends.
- Blending with LDPE: LLDPE improves strength; LDPE improves bubble stability and clarity. Most bag makers use 20–50 % LLDPE.

Processing tips
