Polymer Granules for Iraq and the Kurdistan Region
Iraq produces very little polyethylene of its own, and its converters import most of the granules they turn into film, bags, pipes, bottles and household goods. The Iraqi Ministry of Environment puts the country’s plastic imports at about 3 billion US dollars a year. Rabin Polymer supplies Iranian HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, polypropylene, polystyrene and bottle-grade PET to plants in Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and the rest of Iraq, together with the recycled granules and compounds made at our own plant in Semnan province.

Delivery to Iraq
- Border crossings: Mehran–Zurbatiyah for Baghdad and central Iraq, Shalamcheh for Basra and the south, Bashmaq and Haji Omaran for Sulaymaniyah, Erbil and the Kurdistan Region
- Terms: FCA at the Iranian border or DAP at your warehouse, agreed in the offer
- Packing: original 25 kg producer bags on pallets, or jumbo bags on request. See packaging
- Documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and the certificate of analysis of the lot
- Payment: 50% when the order is placed and 50% after loading, paid in Iran
- Loading and clearance: loading starts within 3 days of the advance payment being confirmed, and Iranian export clearance within 1 day of the truck reaching customs; if either is missed, the advance is refunded

Questions from buyers
Do you deliver to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah?
Yes. Trucks for the Kurdistan Region cross at Bashmaq or Haji Omaran. Tell us the city and we include the route in the offer.
What is the minimum order?
One full truck is the usual minimum. Mixed grades on one truck are possible; ask for the current lots.
Can I get the certificate of analysis before loading?
Yes. We send the certificate of analysis of the lot with the offer or before loading, and photos of the loaded truck before it leaves.
