PVC compound granules

PVC compound is polyvinyl chloride resin that has already been blended with stabilisers, plasticisers, fillers, lubricants and pigments and pelletised, so it can be processed directly on an extruder or injection-moulding machine. Using a ready compound saves the converter the work of dry-blending PVC powder and gives more consistent properties from lot to lot.

Hardness ranges are typical industry values. The exact hardness, density and additive package are agreed for each order.

• Commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin with every shipment

What is the difference between PVC resin and PVC compound?

PVC resin is a white powder that must be mixed with stabilisers, plasticisers and other additives before processing. PVC compound is already mixed and pelletised, ready for the machine.

Can the compound be coloured?
