Buying Iranian Polymer Granules: How Orders, Payment and Loading Work

Buyers in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Central Asia, Iraq and Türkiye import Iranian polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and PET because the plants are close and the transit is short. If this is your first order from an Iranian exporter, this guide explains how an order with Rabin Polymer works, step by step.
1. Enquiry
Send the grade, quantity and destination city on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form. If you are not sure of the grade, tell us the product you make and your current grade, and we suggest an Iranian equivalent. Datasheets for every grade are on the Technical Datasheets page.
2. Offer and proforma invoice
We reply within one business day with the available lots, the rate, the packing, the delivery terms and the loading date. Rates move every week with regional prices and freight, so they are quoted per order and are not published on the website. Once you agree, we issue the proforma invoice.
3. Payment: 50% now, 50% after loading
- Advance: 50% of the invoice value when the order is placed, paid in Iran.
- Balance: the remaining 50% after loading, against photos of the loaded truck or container and the shipping documents.
4. Loading within 3 days
Loading starts within 3 days of the advance payment being confirmed. If we cannot start loading in that time, the advance is refunded. Goods are packed in 25 kg bags, palletised and stretch-wrapped, or in jumbo bags on request; see packaging.
5. Export clearance within 1 day
Iranian export customs is completed within 1 day of the truck reaching customs. If it is not, the advance is refunded. Import clearance and duty in your country are handled by your broker.
6. Documents you receive
- Commercial invoice
- Packing list
- Certificate of origin
- Certificate of analysis of the lot, and the producer datasheet
- Photos of the loaded truck or container before it is sealed

Tips for a smooth first order
- Quote the full grade code, for example HDPE EX5 or LLDPE 209; short codes can match more than one product.
- Agree the delivery term and the border crossing in the offer.
- Ask for the certificate of analysis of the lot before loading.
- Keep the photos and documents for your customs broker.
