PE100 Black for buyers in Pakistan

In Karachi rate lists this grade trades under HDPE pipe resin (PE100) (prime, virgin plastic dana). Converters in Pakistan use PE100 Black for water mains, gas distribution pipe and pressure ducts for utility projects. Comparing grades? See also HDPE PE100 Natural or HDPE EX3.

For pipe makers in Pakistan this is ready PE100 pipe grade resin with carbon black already added, not finished pipe.

  • Sea: 20′ / 40′ containers from Bandar Abbas to Karachi or Port Qasim
  • Road: trucks via Taftan for inland buyers
  • Packing: 25 kg PE or woven bags, palletised; jumbo bags on request
  • Documents: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and the producer datasheet

PE100 Black Pipe Compound FAQ

What is the difference between PE100 and PE80?

PE100 has a minimum required strength (MRS) of 10 MPa versus 8 MPa for PE80. For the same pressure rating, PE100 pipes can have thinner walls, or for the same wall they can carry higher pressure.

Why use a pre-compounded black PE100 instead of natural resin plus masterbatch?

In a pre-compounded grade the 2.0–2.5% carbon black is dispersed at the producer, giving consistent UV protection and dispersion (< 3) that meets pipe standards without extra dosing equipment or the risk of poor mixing.

Which standards can pipes made from this compound meet?

The compound is intended for pressure pipe to ISO 4427 / EN 12201 for water and comparable gas pipe standards. Final certification depends on the pipe producer’s testing.

What test results can you provide?

Each lot comes with a certificate covering MFR, density, carbon black content and dispersion; OIT and other values are available on request.

What are the recommended extrusion settings?

Typical extrusion temperatures are 190–220 °C. Dry the material if it has absorbed moisture during storage.

What is the melt flow rate of PE100 Black?

Typical MFR at 190 °C / 5 kg: 0.22 g/10 min; density 0.957 g/cm³. Full values are in the table above and in the TDS PDF.

Who produces PE100 Black in Iran?

Shazand (Arak) Petrochemical. We confirm the producer for each lot.
